Lázaro Campos is co-founder of FinTechStage, a global platform for Investors, Innovators, and start-ups to foster FinTech innovation. He is also management advisor and board member in various innovative financial services ventures. He serves as Independent Member of Bank of England’s RTGS/CHAPS Board, Chairman of the Board of The ID Co (start-up offering a B2B SaaS open bank data platform), Advisor to Management of Payoneer Inc (a global business payment platform), and Non-Executive Director at Starling Bank (a challenger bank in the UK).
Previously, Lázaro served in the Board of Standard Chartered Bank and was Senior Executive Advisor of Booz Allen Hamilton’s Financial Services practice. In 2014, he was appointed member of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Digital Financial Services (DFS) Platform Enablers group in support of financial services for the poor. In his executive career, Lázaro spent almost 30 years at SWIFT, the banking network, where he served in a number of executive positions, including CEO from 2007 to 2012.
